Lendz Financial is a tech-driven mortgage lending platform that helps mortgage brokers grow their loan origination volume.
The Challenge
As VP of Revenue Operations & Digital Transformation, Erick Mahle oversees all revenue tooling - including Salesforce and various AI applications.
Initially, the company looked at Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) to sync emails and meetings from Outlook to Salesforce. However, as they scaled, it became clear that EAC wasn’t meeting their evolving needs.
“Einstein Activity Capture just doesn’t have the reporting functionality we needed. We wanted to do more - especially with AI playing a bigger role.”

Invisible to users, essential to RevOps
Weflow offers flexible setup options for activity capture, ranging from fully automated logging to manual entry via the Outlook Add-In or Chrome Extension.
Admins can even assign different configurations by user profile. For example, Account Executives might run fully automated activity capture, while executives use manual logging for more control.
At Lendz, the team opted for a fully automated setup.
Weflow runs quietly in the background. Emails from Outlook are captured in Salesforce without requiring any user action. Using Weflow’s mapping algorithm, emails are automatically mapped to the correct Salesforce contacts, opportunities, and accounts.
“The beauty is that end-users don’t actively use it - it just works. Everything is captured automatically.”
This hands-off approach frees reps from manual data entry while ensuring Salesforce activities are complete and up to date.
Weflow now captures virtually 100% of relevant emails in Salesforce while respecting Lendz’s custom set-up and logging settings.
Covering complex use-cases, easily
What makes this frictionless automation especially valuable is Weflow’s flexibility in handling edge cases that mattered to Erick’s team.
One such case: a single prospect using multiple email addresses for business communication.
This created data fragmentation and the risk of duplicate contacts in Salesforce. Most tools couldn’t handle this complexity, but Weflow offered the flexibility Lendz needed.
“We try really hard to maintain data quality in our data structure, and we don’t want to create duplicate contacts just because someone has two sets of emails that they use. Weflow covers this, which was a big saver for us.”
Weflow lets the team associate multiple emails with a single contact record, preserving context and eliminating duplicates.
Other platforms lacked this level of adaptability, forcing teams to undertake time-consuming duplicate management work or compromising data quality. Weflow made it seamless.

Lastly, the team also configured Weflow to exclude irrelevant email types and preserve Salesforce storage, which can easily become overloaded by bulk email data.
