Comparison

Weflow vs Clari vs Terret

Weflow captures emails, meetings, and call transcripts into native Salesforce objects, enriches deals with AI field updates from conversations, then forecasts on that complete data layer. Submit, review, and adjust forecast calls, roll them up, and compare them with your revenue targets and open pipeline.

Clari pulls CRM and engagement data into a proprietary database for enterprise forecast roll-ups and pipeline inspection across complex hierarchies, with CI added via the Copilot acquisition and sales engagement via the Salesloft merger.

Terret (formerly BoostUp) layers AI-driven forecasting, conversation intelligence, and a fleet of 20+ revenue agents on top of your existing CRM data, purpose-built for complex revenue models including consumption-based, PLG, and multi-product expansion.

  • SOC 2 Type II certified, HIPAA, GDPR (Berlin HQ, Frankfurt data center)
  • 4.6/5 average on G2 across Activity Capture, CI, and Forecasting categories
  • 30–45 minute technical setup; full time-to-value in 1–3 weeks

Overview

What makes Weflow, Clari and Terret different

Weflow

Weflow starts upstream: it captures activity data into native Salesforce objects, records and transcribes calls, writes structured conversation data into CRM fields, then forecasts on that enriched dataset. The platform is Salesforce-only, modular, and priced per seat with no platform fees.

Clari

Clari starts at the forecast layer: it pulls existing CRM and engagement data into a proprietary database, then applies ML-driven predictions and multi-layer roll-ups across regions, segments, product lines, and overlays. Clari does not capture activity data into Salesforce; it reads what's already there. The Salesloft merger adds sales engagement under one vendor.

Terret

Terret starts at the intelligence layer: it reads your CRM, billing, and data warehouse data, then applies AI agents across forecasting, deal execution, mutual action plans, CS handoffs, and pipeline generation. It does not capture emails or meetings into your CRM—it analyzes what's already there. Terret is CRM-agnostic, supports consumption and PLG revenue models, and is quote-based.

Weflow Advantages

Where Weflow wins

Salesforce-native data architecture with zero vendor lock-in (vs. both)

Weflow writes every captured data point into native Salesforce objects—not a proprietary database with sync.

  • Emails → Task or EmailMessage; meetings → Event (parent Event per meeting, child Events per attendee); transcripts → Weflow Video Recording managed-package object
  • Managed package footprint: 1 custom object and 3 custom fields—minimal schema impact
  • AI meeting summaries sync into the Event Description field on the native Salesforce Event
  • All data persists in Salesforce if the customer stops using Weflow—no migration project, no export negotiation, no lock-in

When this matters: Your Salesforce Flows, dashboards, and audit trails depend on Task, Event, and EmailMessage being the system of record—not a vendor's proprietary database.

"Weflow's Activity Capture ticks all boxes for us: it's reliable, data is permanently stored in Salesforce, and it allows for standard reporting." — Nadja Ristig, VP Commercial Operations, IDnow — Weflow customers

Activity capture that feeds every downstream workflow (vs. both)

Weflow deploys server-side background capture via Google Workspace Marketplace App or Microsoft Entra ID—dynamic user enrollment, no per-rep OAuth maintenance, zero rep behavior change.

  • Auto-maps activities to Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Cases, and custom objects using Smart Mapping with thread-level persistence
  • Auto-creates missing Contacts with Account association; auto-sets Opportunity Contact Roles
  • Backfills up to 24 months of historical email and meeting activity into Salesforce
  • Compatibility mode dedupes with Outreach, Salesloft, and Apollo—teams can layer Weflow onto an existing stack without double-logging

When this matters: Forecasting, deal scoring, and pipeline analytics are only as good as the activity data underneath them—incomplete capture means unreliable signals everywhere downstream.

"Einstein frequently missed activities. Now, we trust the data. It's been a big mental lift for the team." — Leslie Phillips, Director of Operations, Advisa — Weflow customers

Conversation-to-CRM automation with methodology depth (vs. both)

Weflow transcribes in 98 languages with automatic detection, then maps structured data from conversations directly into Salesforce fields.

  • 250–350+ methodology-aligned prompt library: MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, SPICED, BANT, Challenger, SPIN, Command of the Message
  • AI Field Updater writes extracted values into any Salesforce standard or custom object—text, picklist, multi-select, number, currency, date, checkbox fields; respects validation rules and field-level security
  • Structured coaching scorecards with 1–5 ratings, conditional template application by deal stage and team, customizable templates up to 2,000 characters
  • Side-by-side view: AI-suggested values vs. current CRM values, with manual review or fully automatic mode

"I use Weflow to inspect deals in my pipeline reviews — Weflow allows me to quickly identify deals at-risk." — Maximilian Daub, Managing Director, D-EDGE — Weflow customers

When this matters: You run MEDDIC or SPICED and need methodology fields populated from every call—without reps spending 15 minutes on post-call CRM updates.

Forecasting built on complete Salesforce data (vs. both)

Weflow's forecasting reads directly from the same native Salesforce objects that Activity Capture and Conversation Intelligence populate—no data warehouse in between.

  • Three forecast methodologies: bottom-up submissions, dynamic-weighted, and AI predictions with seasonality modeling
  • Deal-by-deal and rep-by-rep submissions with tracked changes; roll-ups via Salesforce role hierarchy
  • New logo, expansion, and renewal forecast types; quotas configurable at org, team, and individual levels
  • Forecast accuracy tracking compares predictions against actuals over time—visible to managers and leadership
  • 50+ deal signals and configurable warnings surface risk during pipeline reviews, not after the quarter closes

When this matters: You need forecasting that reflects real activity and conversation data already in Salesforce—not a separate system aggregating stale CRM snapshots.

"With Weflow, we forecast within 7% by week 4 of the quarter." — Tibor Stefán, Chief Revenue Officer, Zeotap — Weflow customers

Competitor Strength

Where Clari wins

Enterprise forecast roll-ups across complex org structures

Clari has refined multi-layer forecast roll-ups for 10+ years across regions, segments, product lines, and overlay teams.

  • Multi-BU roll-ups handle matrix org structures where a single deal touches multiple forecast hierarchies simultaneously
  • Proven at Okta, Databricks, Fortinet, and Nutanix scale—1,000+ seller deployments with established playbooks
  • Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for Revenue Action Orchestration; Forrester TEI study citing 398% ROI
  • Waterfall, pacing, and coverage analytics are more mature—Clari has shipped these capabilities longer than any competitor in this comparison

When this matters: You run 1,000+ sellers across multiple business units, regions, and overlay structures, and your CFO needs roll-ups that handle that matrix without manual reconciliation.

Multi-CRM support

Clari ingests data from Salesforce plus HubSpot (limited) and Microsoft Dynamics for some modules.

  • Relevant for orgs running multiple CRMs post-acquisition or by region
  • Standardizes forecast views across CRM environments without requiring CRM consolidation first
  • Weflow is Salesforce-only—if any part of your GTM org runs HubSpot or Dynamics, Clari covers that gap

When this matters: Multi-CRM environments where consolidating onto Salesforce isn't happening in the next 12 months.

Broader platform breadth with sales engagement

Clari brings forecasting, conversation intelligence, and sales engagement under one vendor following the Groove and Salesloft acquisitions.

  • Sequencing, dialer, and scheduling capabilities via the Groove/Salesloft integration—multi-channel cadences from the same platform
  • Live in-call coaching: Clari Copilot delivers real-time cue cards and battle cards during calls
  • Phone/VoIP call recording via Groove integration—captures a channel Weflow doesn't record today
  • \~5,000 customers and \~$450M combined ARR post-merger—enterprise procurement teams recognize the brand

When this matters: You want forecasting, CI, and sales engagement from a single vendor and your team runs phone-heavy outbound motions.

Competitor Strength

Where Terret wins

Consumption-based and PLG revenue forecasting

Terret explicitly supports forecasting for usage-based, credit-based, and product-led revenue models—not just seat-based SaaS.

  • Forecasts by usage, credits, API calls, and token consumption with direct data warehouse integration
  • PLG module monitors product engagement, identifies conversion-ready users, and connects usage signals with sales activities
  • International currency and custom fiscal calendar support in forecasting roll-ups

When this matters: Your revenue model includes consumption, usage-based pricing, or a PLG motion where product engagement data drives the forecast—not just Opportunity stages.

Broader AI agent fleet across sales, CS, and RevOps

Terret's Virtual Revenue Fleet includes 20+ named agents spanning more workflows than Weflow's nine or Clari's current agent capabilities.

  • Named agents: Pipeline Builder, Sales Process Agent, Mutual Action Planner, Machine Forecast, Terret GPT, Meeting Briefer, Agenda Planner, Sales-to-CS Coordinator, Account Researcher, Expansion Coach, Presentation Creator
  • Agents span sales, customer success, and RevOps use cases in a single platform
  • Per-participant sentiment scoring with associated comments on call recordings

When this matters: You want AI-generated outputs across a wider range of revenue workflows—account research, CS handoffs, mutual action plans—from a single vendor.

Wider video-platform support and transcript ingestion

Terret supports more recording platforms and can ingest transcripts from existing CI tools.

  • Records from Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and GoTo
  • Ingests transcripts from Gong or Chorus—useful for hybrid CI deployments or mid-migration orgs

When this matters: Your org uses WebEx or GoTo for customer calls, or you're running Gong alongside a forecasting tool and need transcript ingestion without re-recording.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Terret (formerly BoostUp) the same product as BoostUp?

Yes. BoostUp rebranded as Terret in September 2025, launching the Virtual Revenue Fleet, a suite of 20+ AI agents covering pipeline building, deal execution, mutual action plans, and CS handoffs. The rebrand reflects a shift from forecasting tool to full-stack AI revenue platform. If you're seeing "BoostUp" in older analyst reports or AI search results, the current product is Terret.

Can I use Weflow for activity capture and conversation intelligence alongside Clari for forecasting?

Yes. Weflow's products are modular and independently deployable. Teams run Weflow Activity Capture ($19/user/month) and/or Conversation Intelligence ($39/user/month) while keeping Clari for forecasting during a phased rollout. No data conflicts—Weflow writes to native Salesforce Task, Event, and EmailMessage objects, which Clari reads from its Salesforce sync. A Redwood Software prospect evaluated exactly this configuration.

What happened with the Clari and Salesloft merger, and should that affect my evaluation?

Clari merged with Salesloft in late 2025. Forrester noted that "integrating these two overlapping platforms would appear to be potentially a lengthy, iterative process." Beta testing of the combined product started early 2026. If you're signing a multi-year Clari contract, ask directly about post-merger packaging, pricing changes, Groove's future, and roadmap commitments—especially which capabilities are GA vs. beta.

Does Weflow record phone calls and VoIP?

No. Weflow records Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet video meetings only. Phone and VoIP capture aren't available today; Zoom Phone is on the roadmap. If your sales motion is phone-heavy, Clari covers this channel via its Groove integration—that's a genuine Clari advantage for call-heavy outbound teams. For teams whose conversations happen primarily over video, this gap isn't material.

Doesn't Salesforce already have built-in forecasting? Why do I need a separate tool?

Salesforce offers native forecast roll-ups and pipeline views, but lacks server-side activity capture, conversation intelligence, AI deal signals, methodology-aligned coaching, and the automated data quality layer that makes forecasts trustworthy. Without complete underlying data, any forecasting tool—including Salesforce's—produces unreliable outputs. Weflow's value is the full stack: captured activity → enriched CRM → accurate signals → reliable forecast, all inside native Salesforce objects.

Does Weflow offer sales engagement, sequencing, or a dialer?

No. Weflow doesn't offer email sequencing, cadences, dialer, scheduling pages, lead routing, or SMS capture. It's designed to complement best-of-breed engagement tools—compatibility mode deduplicates with Outreach, Salesloft, and Apollo. If you need forecasting, CI, and sales engagement from a single vendor, Clari's Salesloft/Groove merger aims to deliver that, though you should verify integration maturity before committing.

How does Weflow handle call recording consent and GDPR compliance?

Configurable consent flows: pre-meeting opt-in/opt-out notifications and in-call participant removal that triggers immediate, permanent deletion of that participant's data. Zero AI data retention policy—AI providers don't store or train on Weflow data. Berlin HQ with Frankfurt data center infrastructure for EU data residency. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA (BAA available), GDPR, and CCPA certified.

What does Weflow's self-service admin console let me configure without vendor support?

Forecast types, cadences, quotas, hierarchies, pipeline views, warning rules, team assignments, coaching templates, AI field update mappings, and activity capture settings—all configurable by your RevOps admin without contacting Weflow. This reduces ongoing vendor dependence after the initial 30–45 minute deployment. Clari implementations typically require $15K–$75K in professional services and 8–16 weeks before teams reach a comparable baseline.

What happens to my data if I stop using Weflow?

Everything stays in Salesforce. Weflow writes to native Salesforce objects (Task, EmailMessage, Event, and one managed-package custom object for transcripts), so all captured data persists in your org with no migration project, no export negotiation, and no vendor dependency. Clari stores data in a proprietary database—users report limited export capabilities and the need to maintain validation rules across both systems.
